Employee management without spreadsheets
In most small businesses, "HR" is a pocket notebook and a Friday argument. Who came Saturday? Was the advance two hundred or three hundred? Didn't he take Tuesday off? Nobody is lying — everybody is remembering differently. That's not a people problem; it's a record problem.
Three records, kept as you go
- Attendance: a tap per worker per day — present, absent, half-day. Done at the counter in ten seconds, not reconstructed at week's end from memory.
- Advances: the two hundred he took on Tuesday is written the moment it leaves the drawer — and it comes out of the same cash the system already tracks, so your money position stays honest too.
- The weekly pay report: days worked × daily rate − advances = the number. The system shows the math to both of you. The argument ends because there's nothing left to argue about.
Fairness isn't a feeling — it's a record both sides can read.
Workers on jobs, not just on payroll
If you run a garage or a contracting business, workers aren't a list — they're assigned to jobs and projects. Attach a mechanic to a job card or a crew to a project and the picture completes: what the project pays them is part of what the project costs, so profit-per-job stops being a guess. Salaries paid through the same system land in your expense reports automatically.
Small team, real payroll
You don't need an HR department to treat five workers properly. You need the three records above, kept without effort, in the same app that runs your counter. That's what our employees module is — nothing more, and deliberately nothing less.
